1. Acceptance
By creating a Diction Flow account, using dictionflow.com, or installing the Diction Flow Extension, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to use Diction Flow. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm a parent or guardian has reviewed these terms with you.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- One person may not create multiple accounts to evade limits.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third-party rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the service.
- Use automated means to scrape, harvest, or extract data beyond normal product use.
- Re-sell or sublicense the service without our written permission.
5. Subscription & billing
Some Diction Flow features require a paid plan. Pricing, billing intervals, and refund terms are shown at checkout. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current period unless required by local law.
6. Third-party services
Diction Flow integrates with translation providers (Google Translate, DeepL, Microsoft Bing, Yandex, OpenAI) and streaming sites (YouTube, Netflix, KinoPub, Coursera, Plex, Amazon Prime Video, Udemy). We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, terms, or content. You must comply with each provider's own terms.
7. Intellectual property
All Diction Flow software, branding, and content (excluding user-submitted vocabulary) belong to Diction Flow. The extension source is partly derived from the open-source EasySubs project and remains under the MIT license to that extent. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Diction Flow for your own learning.
8. User content
Vocabulary, transcripts, and notes you create remain yours. By using the service you grant Diction Flow a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via our contact form. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when feasible.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that translations or pronunciation scores are accurate, complete, or free of error.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Diction Flow is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days before they take effect via in-app notice or email.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Diction Flow is registered. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
