Most language apps ask you to make time for them. Diction Flow works the other way around: it plugs into the things you already do — watching videos, sitting in meetings, listening to podcasts — and quietly turns them into study material.

The three pieces

The browser extension sits on top of YouTube, Netflix, Coursera, Udemy and other platforms. Hover over any word in the subtitles and the video pauses, a translation pops up, and one click saves the word to your personal dictionary — together with the sentence it appeared in.

The desktop app records and transcribes meetings, lectures and podcasts in real time. New vocabulary is extracted automatically and synced to your account, so even your Monday stand-up becomes a source of new words.

The web dashboard is where everything comes together: your word book, spaced-repetition reviews, quizzes, AI conversation partners and pronunciation reports.

Why context beats flashcards

You remember words you met in a real scene far better than words from a random list. Every word in Diction Flow carries its context — the subtitle line, the meeting sentence — and reviews always show that context. Spaced repetition then schedules each word exactly when you are about to forget it.
